10.2014 – Botanical art holiday, Datça
This course offers a wonderful holiday opportunity with a relaxing atmosphere while helping to develop your skills and information about botanical art. Yaghane Hostel is organizing this course with an excellent hospitality and providing an opportunity to paint seosonal plants with a different approach. Course will take place in a lovely garden of a stone hostel, Yaghane, where you can relax and enjoy delicious food while improving your knowledge about botanical art.
This foundation course is aimed to show you the basic techniques of watercolour used in botanical illustrations. These classes teach students to accurately draw plants by observing basic botanical shapes and structures and illustrating them with botanical accuracy, focusing on developing your ability to; see shapes; judge angles; draw in proportion; represent form through tonal value; use light and shade to make your drawing life-like; use watercolour washes and mix colours.
This course will help you to combine scientific accuracy with an aesthetic vision to create beautiful botanicals.

Price: 1100 TL for one person, this price is including all accomodation, breakfast, dinner and limitless tea and coffee. Without accomodation, the price is 450 TL for one person, this price is only including tea and coffe, it is not including breakfast and dinner.
Materials needed: You can supply all materials needed during the course from the tutor with an additional price. People who would like to supply materials from tutor, please inform in advanced. Once you apply for the course, you will receive a detailed material list.
