Born 1983, Ankara, Turkey. I originally graduated in Environmental Engineering, but instead of this I chose this entirely different path for my life and have been working full time as a botanical artist for over 10 years. I am very glad I made this decision, though as the child of a botanist father and growing up surrounded by wild nature made my decision easy.

For many years, I am organizing Botanical Illustration courses in Turkey and many different countries. Till now, even if I was living in Barcelona for a period of time, I didn’t have any attempt to organize these courses in Barcelona. This year, due to the increasing interest, we have decided to organize one –week beginner classes in Barcelona, but we end up organizing three courses! One week was in Botanic Garden of Barcelona, two weeks were in Associació Professional d’Il·lustradors de Catalunya. Participation to these courses was amazing and very exciting to me, and this was my first time that I was teaching in Spanish! People who attended to these courses were from different parts of Spain, like Sevilla, Madrid, Canary Islands, Mallorca and Figueres, even from Portugal. There were total 36 participants. It was brilliant!

Christina Losa, was one of the participants, told about the course in her blog if you like to read!
